-excessive rust.
-broken/ non working chinstrap.
-Broken/ damaged inner liner.
-any or all above.

Most can be worn regularly, all need either some love or a stubborn owner.

It's not terrible, it's not great.
But honest soviet steel helmets.
Mostly build between 1948-1958.
1.3kg of steel bucket, round shaped. It's the SSH-40.
Each helmet was used and has military background.
By that they won't be shiny crisp clean green.
They will show signs of rust, wear & tear and damages.
However they are solid, one piece and with fully working chinstraps & interior lining.
They have stamps, marks or paint as each is a piece of soviet militaria history.
These models are mostly made around *1948-1958
*Please note some are original WW2 era made models.
But these have been refurbished(and stamped) later on in service or the Red Army so will be sold as post WW2 models.
Some just will be extra lucky.
Size
P/Rost size 1, 2 or 3. They go up as you would expect. Anyway it will fit don't worry about it Private.
