Heartbreak at 200 km/h.

Before All the Things She Said went global, there was 200 по встречной: t.A.T.u.’s 2001 debut, featuring Я сошла с ума, Нас не догонят and 30 минут and Мальчик-гей.

Female (forbidden same sex) love, public judgement and teenage rebellion became the centre of a deliberately provocative pop image. Its carefully constructed drama meant something for all youth and helped make t.A.T.u. one of the defining acts of the Russian and International Y2K era.

And be honest, we all had a massive crush on either Lena Katina or Julia Volkova, mostly both, sometimes at the same time!

Quite weird times as when their music came out it was a kind of movement of freedom awaking in Russia, whilst their songs now being used for goverment propaganda.

Regardless this old album from them slaps.

Female vocales, 2000 eu pop and weird electronic sounds.

In soviet Russia Scissor Scissors You.
