Original 1000 Mark Reichsbanknote from Imperial Germany, dated Berlin, 21 April 1910.

Big pre WW1 German paper money from the Kaiser era before the trenches, before Weimar chaos, before hyperinflation.

This bill could have been exchanged in a bank for 1000 Mark

(would have been approx €220/$240 at that time)

In 1910, 1000 Mark was serious money. This was not a small shopchange note; this was big Reichsbank paper from the German Empire under Kaiser Wilhelm II.

A few years later World War I, war debt and inflation would start eating the value of German money alive.

Large format note with classic imperial German design, Reichsbank text, serial numbers and official signatures. Condition varies slightly because these are original circulated notes. You receive one random original note from stock.
