Set of 5 random 100+ year old German Notgeld, or emergency money.
Printed in the time after WW1 and prior to the National Socialist taking charge with WW2 as result.
Each bill is printed in a town, city or region in Germany, when after WW1 the Weimar inflation came local towns, regions, companies and banks issued their own small paper money.
Often in tiny values like 10,25,50 Pfennig or 1 Mark.
But the designs however.
Instead of plain banknotes, value, signature, stamp and LFG Germany did Germany.
All banknotes are nothing more than a oath to the printer (being it a company, region, town etc).
They show folkflore, soldiers, workers, coats of arms, animals, jokes, castles, factories in the unique German 'Gothic' brutalist and industrialist design.
Most of not all have dual side artwork.
