Early Viet Minh / Democratic republic of Vietnam postal stamps, printed on repurposed French Indochina stamps.
Only made between 1945-1946 early period when Ho Chi-Minh took over after Japanese occuption and declared Vietnam as an independent Democratic Republic.
We all knew how that went and is going till today.
The stamps are unissued meaning never posted, licked, stamped. From orginal storage.
Provisionally made in Vietnam between 1945 and 1946.
The stamps shows with red crossed Indochina and replacing it with:
VIET-NAM DAN-CHU CONG-HOA
= Việt Nam Dân Chủ Cộng Hòa
= Democratic Republic of Vietnam
Độc Lập Tự Do Hạnh Phúc
= Independence , Freedom , Happiness
