1970 Soviet Felt Beret — Naval Insignia USSR Shchyolkovo Felt Factory

Original Soviet era dark blue felt beret, produced by THE Shchyolkovo Felt Factory Moscow region.

The factory is one of the oldest established hat manufacturers dating back to 1823 and continued to work during all of USSR and still is massive supplier of highest grade berets and felt produces.

This example has a custom large metal naval anchor and Red Army collar tab stuck to it.

Most likely previous owner wanted tell a story (it came directly east no eu hands touched it) 

Inside is the old factory label, printed in blue ink on a heavy cotton tag (no photo)

Cool thing about this Factory, they had their 180th anniversary I believe in 2016 and they always have been known for high/est quality felt items.

This piece seems alot like their 1960-1980 production although it cannot pin point exactly.

The new owner will understand and see the minor traces in inside that shows its history.
