Original East German NVA officer uniform jacket, preserved in unissued condition with its original factory/inspection paper still attached.
Made from classic stone-grey NVA wool with silver-coloured uniform buttons, four pleated front pockets, officer-style silver collar Litzen and white piping around both cuffs.
The jacket is fully lined and remains without shoulder boards fitted. The mounting points are present, allowing the appropriate boards to be added if desired.
Best of all, this one apparently never got its chance to defend socialism: the original paper inspection/control tag is still pinned to the back.
Some minor marks from decades of military storage may naturally be present, but this is not a used/issued jacket.
