Original East German NVA Luftstreitkräfte/Luftverteidigung officer's tunic in the wonderfully understated DDR combination of stone-grey uniform cloth and extremely unsubtle sky-blue branch piping.
The Luftstreitkräfte identity is all over this one: turquoise-blue piping around the collar and cuffs, sky-blue officer collar tabs with embroidered silver wings and wreaths, silver officer shoulder boards and the classic silver-grey DDR uniform buttons.
Four buttoned pleated front pockets give it that unmistakable NVA silhouette, while the inside is fully lined.
The shoulder boards have lost several of their rank stars over the years one currently carries two and the other one. It was most likely from a Uberleutnant or Hauptmann and luckily the stars are freely available on global market to make the uniform in orginal condition.
