This is an original Irish Defence Forces DPM field shirt, complete with the Irish tricolour still attached to the upper sleeve.
Irish DPM looks vaguely familiar until you put it beside British DPM.
The Irish pattern has its own shapes and distinctive colour palette and, thanks to Ireland being a relatively small military-surplus source, you don't see mountains of genuine examples floating around Europe.
This is proper lightweight field clothing: full button front, two large expandable chest pockets with buttoned flaps, upper-arm utility pocket, button-adjustable cuffs, fold-down collar, shoulder epaulettes and Velcro fields for insignia.
The Irish flag patch remains fitted.
Issued and visibly used, exactly as military surplus should occasionally be.
