Kombinatsiya- Russkie Devochki | Russian Girls Music CD

Origin: Mixed

Album era: 1989

Tracks: 15, including interludes

Genre: Soviet pop / Eurodisco

Kombinatsiya formed in Saratov in 1988. By 1989, “Russian Girls” had brought them audiences across the USSR.

Russkie Devochki catches that breakthrough period: Alyona Apina and Tatyana Ivanova, bright pop melodies and much attitude.

Contains among others:

- Russian Girls: the breakthrough hit, sitting at track five on this edition.

- Ne Zabyvay : Не забывай: “Don’t Forget.” Another of the group’s favourites.

- Krasnoe Platye : Красное платье: “Red Dress.” More late Soviet pop for budget wardrobe.

The fifteen-track programme includes the little interludes as well as the songs, giving you the album’s odd corners alongside its biggest hit.
