Snova Vmeste means Together Again. Mirazh helped define late Soviet disco: huge hooks, glamorous stage energy and songs that travelled far beyond any one concert hall.

• Muzyka Nas Svyazala — Музыка нас связала: “Music Has Bound Us Together.” The big communal singalong.

• Novyy Geroy — Новый герой: “New Hero.” Synthpop with a dramatic entrance.

• Ya Ne Shuchu — Я не шучу: “I’m Not Joking.” Another essential Mirazh chorus.

These three songs also appear in the crime drama Slovo Patsana. The music already had a life of its own; the series gave another generation a route into it.

eleven tracks of late Soviet disco, with the Cyrillic artwork to match. Put it beside your bleak post-punk records and give the room a night off.
