Original East German Ministry of the Interior side cap, made in dark-blue uniform fabric with the colourful embroidered DDR state emblem on the front.

The MdI was responsible for the East German People's Police and several other internal security organisations during the Cold War.

All caps carry original MdI markings inside.

Nice little piece of DDR history, complete with its original embroidered emblem.

Good vintage condition with some normal signs of age and storage.
