Original 200 Sum note issued shortly after Uzbekistan’s independence from the Soviet Union.
Depicts the Registan of Samarkand, one of Central Asia’s most iconic architectural ensembles, a symbol of learning and trade along the Silk Road.
Reverse side shows national emblem with the Huma bird and cotton wreath.
Printed by Goznak (Russia) on durable paper with watermark portrait and security thread.
Under UV light, security fibers and numeric patterns glow in bright green and red.
Beautiful early post-Soviet design, combining Soviet-style engraving with new national identity.
Was orginally in circulation till 2020, these bills however have never been circulated.
